NATIONAL RECALL REGISTRY

PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: March 2026

1. Who We Are

National Recall Registry is operated by National Recall Registry LLC, an Illinois limited liability company ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). Our principal business address is 75 Commerce Dr #263, Grayslake, IL 60030. We operate a legal marketing platform at nationalrecallregistry.com that connects vehicle owners affected by NHTSA recalls with licensed attorneys.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide: When you use our vehicle check and claim submission forms, we collect your name, email address, phone number, state of residence, vehicle information (year, make, model, and VIN if provided), repair history, repair cost range, documentation status, and whether any injuries occurred.

Information collected automatically: We collect your IP address, browser type and version (user agent), the page URL at the time of submission, and the date and time of your visit. This information is required for TCPA consent documentation and compliance purposes.

NHTSA data: When you enter your vehicle information, we query the NHTSA public recall database on your behalf. The recall campaign data returned by NHTSA is associated with your submission but is publicly available information, not personal data.

Cookies and tracking: Our website may use cookies and similar tracking technologies for analytics, advertising attribution (UTM parameters), and service functionality. If you arrive at our site through a paid advertisement, we capture the campaign source, medium, and content identifiers to measure advertising effectiveness. We do not use cookies to identify you personally across other websites.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

— Check your vehicle against the NHTSA recall database
— Evaluate and score your potential legal claim based on case strength factors
— Identify the most appropriate licensed law firm for your case based on your location, vehicle type, and case characteristics
— Share your information with that law firm for case evaluation and potential representation
— Send you a confirmation email regarding your submission and next steps
— Send administrative notifications to our team for lead review and quality control
— Document consent for TCPA compliance and regulatory requirements
— Measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns
— Improve our service and user experience

4. How We Share Your Information

We share your personal information in the following circumstances:

Law firms: We share your submission data with the licensed law firm assigned to evaluate your potential claim. The specific firm is identified in the consent disclosure displayed at the time of your submission. Your information is shared exclusively with the assigned firm and is not sold to data brokers, lead aggregators, or marketing companies.

Service providers: We use third-party service providers to operate our platform, including providers for web hosting, database storage, transactional email delivery, AI-powered data analysis, and business email communications. These providers process your data only on our behalf and under our instructions. No personal information is shared with our AI analysis provider — only publicly available NHTSA recall data is processed through that service.

Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, subpoena, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

5. TCPA Consent

By submitting your information through our claim form, you provide prior express written consent to be contacted by the specific law firm identified in the consent disclosure displayed adjacent to the submit button at the time of your submission. You consent to be contacted by phone call, text message, or email, including through the use of automated dialing technology or prerecorded messages, at the number and email address you provide.

Your consent is not a condition of receiving a case evaluation. You may submit your information and still decline to consent to automated contact methods by contacting us directly.

Consent documentation: For every submission, we capture and retain the following consent record: the exact consent language displayed (including the named firm), an ISO 8601 timestamp with timezone, your IP address, your browser user agent string, the complete page URL, and the form version identifier. These records are immutable — once created, they cannot be modified or deleted by anyone, including our administrators.

Consent records are retained for a minimum of five years per industry best practice (four-year statute of limitations plus buffer). These records are available for law firm audit upon request.

Revoking consent: You may revoke your consent at any time by: emailing legal@nationalrecallregistry.com, replying STOP to any text message, or calling the law firm that contacted you. Revocation will be honored within 10 business days. Revoking consent does not affect communications sent before the revocation was processed.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including: SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit; access-controlled databases with row-level security policies; service-role authentication for all administrative operations; and write-once, immutable consent records that cannot be tampered with after creation. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your submission data for the duration of any active legal matter associated with your submission, plus a reasonable period thereafter for record-keeping and compliance purposes. TCPA consent records are retained for a minimum of five years and are immutable. If you request deletion of your personal information, we will delete your contact details and submission data, but consent records will be retained as required by law (with personal identifiers anonymized where possible).

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements for consent records
Opt-out: Withdraw your consent to be contacted at any time
Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at legal@nationalrecallregistry.com. We will respond within 10 business days. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request.

9. California Residents — CCPA/CPRA Rights

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

Right to know: You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which it was collected, the business purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we shared it.

Right to delete: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions including legal compliance obligations.

Right to opt-out of sale: We do not sell your personal information as defined by the CCPA. We share your information with law firms solely for the purpose of connecting you with legal representation you requested.

Non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA/CPRA rights.

Your continued use of our service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
